Google on the Car market?

The internet search giant is looking for partners to bring its self-driving car systems to market within the next decade. In the meanwhile they are looking for a partner who is interested in a partnership.

‘’We’re talking tot every car company to see what their level if excitement is,’’ said Anthony Levandowski, head of Google’s project to develop software and sensors to allow vehicles to drive themselves. Mr. Levandowski spoke at the Society of Automotive Egineers conference here.

The system needs a million of miles testing before it’s ready to offer a self driving car syste,m for sale but it is getting there. Mr. Levandowski expects the system to be ready real soon, much sooner than the next decade. ‘’If not, shame on us as egineers’’.

The main challenges are related to the software, althoug there are some hardware issues to. For examples the costs and reliability of sensors to detect hazards around the car. ‘Google hasn’t decided how it could market a self driving car system’ according to mr. Levandowski.

Google is having several options, for example a partnership with automakers, offering systems as aftermarket installations, or possibly giving self driving technology away for free as a way to drive use of other Google services. Big auto makers and some of their traditional technolgy suppliers are already working on their own approches to automating some share of routine driving. It’s not clear how interested the automative establishment is in Google’s approach. Anyway we are very curious if Google will keep up the good work, or is their finally something they can not?

Calling and driving not a good combination

The SWOV) estimates that each year approximately 600 traffic incidents are caused by calling during driving. The number of people who are using their phone during driving are increased because of the popularity of smartphones. There are four types of eco-friendly cars: hybrids, electric,bio Fuel and diesel green cars. By definition a eco-friendly car is a car or sport utility vehicle that runs on electric that has been obtained from solar power or water sources. We have not perfected this method for mass quantities as of now. We have cars that use less reserves but they still use some reserves and emit gasses.

Hybrids are both gas and electric. They use less gas and are fuel effective. They are safe for people with heart problems with a pace maker. Electric cars are not a new concept either. It’s been around since the 1800s. they stopped the production claiming it was to expensive. Toyota Rav 4 came out with a fully powered electrical powered car. It will be far more expensive than a traditional car but you will not have to buy gasoline for it. And lastly is Bio Fuel cars. These are cars that get fuel from coal or some other fossil fuel. These cars are becoming very popular in Europe. The most common form of bio-fuel for the car is bio-alcohol or ethanol. It’s a debate if after processing if it really saves any energy using bio-fuel cars. Diesel green cars are found throughout Europe they have much less gasses and better fuel mileage. This diesel engine was designed to run on vegetable oil. Great strides are being made to make quality diesel fuel with vegetable matter. It is a step in the right direction for us to stop being dependent on oil reserves to power our cars. The Impact of an environmentally friendly cars with massively improve our planet and resources. Our world is crawling towards a slow death. Each year the pollution we produce is putting another dagger into its heart. Earth does not have to die. We have the power to stop the bleeding.

There are many ways to help protect our environment. By using environmentally friendly cars we can help slow down the continual damage we do every year to the planet we live on. Vehicles are not the only problem that we have and using environmentally friendly cars is not the only solution to the problem. The cars will just help diminish the greenhouse effects of emissions that the cars produce.

Whether you agree or disagree about global warming and its effects is not the important issue here. What everyone can agree on is that cars do produce a lot of pollution. If you have ever been stuck in a traffic jam then this is not news to you. Environmentally friendly cars will not completely solve this problem but they can help eliminate some of the problem. One of the big knocks about a battery operated car is the limited distance that you can travel on a single charge. It is true that the distance on a single charge is limited, but 80 miles without gas emissions is better than zero. Every bit will help protect our planet.

There are many advantages in owning an environmentally friendly car other than the reduction of emissions. The government offers tax breaks on many of these types of vehicles. Anytime that you can get a brand new vehicle for a discount is good news. A car that runs on a battery will help you save money at the gas pump. The less gas that you have to put into your vehicle the better for your wallet.
